King William Cavaliers (King William, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 27-14 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, King William upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Middlesex (Saluda, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 0-1.

The Pointers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lancaster for a non-league test on Friday, January 5.
