Virginia High School Basketball - Warhill trounces New Kent

The Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) basketball crushed the host New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA), 37-16 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Tabb was trounced by Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA), 45-30, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Charlottesville for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. New Kent will encounter a Black Knights squad coming off a 61-4 non-league win over Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 8-0.
