Nevada High School Basketball - Galena can't hold off Douglas

The Douglas Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Galena Grizzlies to 56 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spanish Springs for a contest on Saturday, January 6. Douglas will battle a Cougars team coming off a 64-54 league loss to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 8-7.
The Grizzlies (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Carson (Carson City, NV). The Senators enter the contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Carson was nudged by Reed (Sparks, NV), 64-59, in a league contest.
