South Lake Eagles (Groveland, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hope Academy Trojan Tigers (Groveland, FL), 61-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Lake upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Foundation Academy (Winter Garden, FL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Foundation Academy won 82-25 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Mary Prep (Lake Mary, FL)

Next up, the Trojan Tigers play the Montverde Academy Eagles (Montverde, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Hope Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 58-53 non-league loss to Winter Park (Winter Park, FL).
