In Thursday's league outing, the Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) basketball squad edged the host South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD), by a margin of 43-42.
The Mustangs (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Southern (Harwood, MD). The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Southern was tipped by Havre de Grace (Havre de Grace, MD), 43-37, in a non-league outing.
The Seahawks now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Huntingtown for a non-league outing on Monday, January 8. South River will clash with a Hurricanes squad coming off a 63-51 league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Hurricanes record now stands at 5-4.
