South Carolina High School Basketball - Palmetto knocked off by Southside

The Southside Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Palmetto Mustangs to 44 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wren for a contest on Monday, January 8. Southside will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 35-28 non-league loss to Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 8-3.
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record.
