Next, the Wildcats confront the Empire Ravens (Tucson, AZ) in a 3A Southeast challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Morenci will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Ravens enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Pueblo (Tucson, AZ).

The Tigers now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Miguel for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 10.
