New Jersey High School Basketball - Hopewell Valley Central knocks off Allentown

January 4, 2025: Pennington, NJ 08534

In Saturday's league contest, the host Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 61-48 win over the Allentown Redbirds.

The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Princeton (Princeton, NJ). The Tigers come into the Colonial Valley contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Princeton was topped by Franklin (Somerset, NJ), 75-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Redbirds battle the Academy Charter (Lake Como, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Allentown will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 72-41 non-league loss to American History (Newark, NJ).
