Oregon High School Basketball - Hidden Valley nips Ashland

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Hidden Valley Mustangs basketball team scored a close 68-62 win over the Ashland Grizzlies.
The Mustangs (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Phoenix (Phoenix, OR). The Pirates come into the 4A Skyline contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Phoenix edged Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR), 73-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Klamath Union Pelicans (Klamath Falls, OR) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Ashland will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Pelicans come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 81-61 non-league loss to Bend (Bend, OR).
