The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams (Bloomsburg, PA) and the host Benton Tigers (Benton, PA), observed Columbia Montour Vo-Tech's basketball team knock off Benton by a score of 39-25.

The Rams (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Bucktail (Farwell, PA). The Bucks come into the Midd-Penn challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Bucktail prevailed over Montgomery (Montgomery, PA), 66-63, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Muncy Indians (Muncy, PA) in a Midd-Penn challenge, on Friday, January 10. Benton will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 54-30 league loss to Northwest Area (Shickshinny, PA).
