In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Berwick Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 45-24 triumph over the Tunkhannock Tigers.

The Bulldogs (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA). The go into the Wyoming Valley 2 contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, MMI Preparatory School was trounced by Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA), 59-33, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights (Kingston, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Tunkhannock will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Blue Knights go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 39-38 league loss to Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA).
