Maine High School Basketball - Houlton victorious over Bucksport

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Houlton Shiretowners basketball team scored a good 57-44 triumph over the Bucksport Golden Bucks.
The Shiretowners (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Orono (Orono, ME). The Riots go into the B North contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Orono was topped by Caribou (Caribou, ME), 59-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Bucks battle the Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) in a B North contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Bucksport will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Ponies go into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 88-36 league loss to Caribou (Caribou, ME).
