The Holt Rams nipped the host Coldwater Cardinals basketball squad by a final score of 49-46 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Rams face the Okemos Wolves (Okemos, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Holt will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Wolves enter the outing with a 8-0 record after their 59-45 non-league win over Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI).
The Cardinals (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Northwest (Jackson, MI). The Mounties enter the Interstate Eight outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Northwest was nipped by Tecumseh (Tecumseh, MI), 52-46, in a non-league outing.
