In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Garfield-Palouse Vikings basketball team scored a big 55-22 triumph over the Colton Wildcats.
The Vikings (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Asotin (Asotin, WA). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Asotin smashed River View (Kennewick, WA), 51-30, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Oakesdale Nighthawks (Oakesdale, WA) in a 1B Southeast contest, on Friday, January 10. Colton will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Nighthawks go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 87-66 non-league loss to Wellpinit (Wellpinit, WA).
