The Craig Panthers basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Petersburg Vikings to 42 in the Panthers league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Redington for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Craig will confront a Huskies team coming off a 63-24 non-league loss to Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Petersburg falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Wrangell (Wrangell, AK) to confront the Wolves in a 2A Southeast game on Friday, January 10. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 0-4. Wrangell lost 54-37 in their recent league game against Metlakatla (Metlakatla, AK)
