In Saturday's league contest, the host Davidson Academy Bears basketball team scored a good 50-39 triumph over the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats.

The Bears (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN). The Cougars go into the Division II-A Middle District 4 contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Clarksville Academy was topped by Friendship Christian (Lebanon, TN), 70-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Friendship Christian Commanders (Lebanon, TN) in a Division II-A Middle District 4 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Donelson Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Commanders go into the contest with a 11-4 record after their 70-52 league win over Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN).
