With the victory, Higley upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Knights host Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ) to face the Bulldogs in a 6A Fiesta match on Friday, January 10. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 9-5. Queen Creek lost 72-55 in their recent non-league match against Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ)

The Thunder now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gila Ridge for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Desert Vista will face a Hawks squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Hamilton (Chandler, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 1-6.
