In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Jefferson Dragons basketball team scored a good 70-52 triumph over the East Forsyth Broncos.
The Dragons (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Warriors go into the AAA Region 8 contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Oconee County was toppled by East Hall (Gainesville, GA), 75-66, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Broncos confront the North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) in a AAAA Region 8 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. East Forsyth will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 13-2 record after their 69-67 non-league win over Buford (Buford, GA).
