Washington High School Basketball - Southridge nips Hanford

In Saturday's league contest, the host Southridge Suns basketball team scored a close 71-64 triumph over the Hanford Falcons.
The Suns (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Walla Walla (Walla Walla, WA). The Blue Devils go into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Walla Walla nipped Kennewick (Kennewick, WA), 72-60, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Richland Bombers (Richland, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Hanford will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Bombers go into the contest with a 8-0 record after their 87-71 league win over Chiawana (Pasco, WA).
