The Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA) basketball edged the host Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights (Kingston, PA), 39-38 in Saturday's league bout.
The Hawkeyes now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Holy Redeemer for a Wyoming Valley 2 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Hanover Area will play a Royals team coming off a 47-33 league win over Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA). The Royals record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Wyoming Seminary College Prep falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Blue knights travel to Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Tunkhannock lost 45-24 in their recent non-league bout against Berwick (Berwick, PA)
