Georgia High School Basketball - Madison County holds off Hart County

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Madison County Red Raiders basketball team scored a close 69-62 triumph over the Hart County Bulldogs.
The Red Raiders (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars go into the AAAA Region 8 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Cedar Shoals nipped Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA), 49-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) in a AA Region 8 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Hart County will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 13-1 record after their 54-33 non-league win over Pendleton (Pendleton, SC).
