The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) basketball toppled the visiting Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ), 66-46 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to New Providence for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will play a Pioneers team coming off a 54-50 non-league loss to Dayton (Springfield, NJ). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Hillside falls to 4-4 on the year. The Comets host Cranford (Cranford, NJ) to clash with the Cougars in a Union County outing on Tuesday, January 7. The Cougars enter the outing with a record of 1-5.
