The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Islesboro Central Eagles (Islesboro, ME) and the visiting North Haven Hawks (North Haven, ME), observed Islesboro Central's basketball team overwhelm North Haven by a score of 60-17.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME). The Vikings come into the D South challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Vinalhaven was routed by Temple Academy (Waterville, ME), 64-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) in a D South challenge, on Monday, January 6. North Haven will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
