The Stars (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK). The Crimson Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Juneau-Douglas was knocked off by Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK), 70-63, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears encounter the Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Northern Lights challenge, on Friday, January 10. Kodiak will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 72-49 non-league loss to Christian (El Cajon, CA).
