The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) and the visiting Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA), observed LaGrange's basketball team edge Whitewater by a margin of 54-47.

The Grangers (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Lions come into the AAA Region 2 challenge with a 1-12 record. In their last challenge, Trinity Christian was tipped by Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA), 57-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA) in a AAA Region 2 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Whitewater will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record.
