Georgia High School Basketball - Lowndes victorious over Tift County

January 4, 2025: Tifton, GA 31794

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Lowndes Vikings basketball team scored a good 53-37 triumph over the Tift County Blue Devils.

The Vikings (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA). The Packers go into the AAAAAA Region 1 contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Colquitt County topped Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA), 55-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Tift County will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Warhawks go into the contest with a 9-4 record after their 65-57 non-league win over Westside (Macon, GA).
