The Lancers (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA). The Defenders come into the Heartland III challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Warrior Run edged Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA), 69-52, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Midd-West Mustangs (Middleburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. Mifflinburg will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 67-40 league loss to Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA).
