The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) and the visiting MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA), observed Wyoming Area's basketball team overwhelm MMI Preparatory School by a score of 59-33.

The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA). The Knights come into the Wyoming Valley 2 challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Lake-Lehman was routed by Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 47-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the encounter the Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. MMI Preparatory School will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 45-24 non-league win over Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA).
