In Saturday's non-league test, the Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY), by a score of 69-48.
Next, the Vikings encounter the Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I test, on Tuesday, January 7. Moriah will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record.
The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY). The Red Storm come into the Section 7 Champlain Valley II test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Saranac Lake bounced Lake George (Lake George, NY), 56-17, in a non-league test.
