Georgia High School Basketball - North Murray overwhelms Southeast Whitfield County

The North Murray Mountaineers basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Southeast Whitfield County Raiders to 34 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mountaineers now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Union County for a AA Region 7 game on Tuesday, January 7. North Murray will confront a Panthers team coming off a 71-63 non-league win over Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-2.
With the loss, Southeast Whitfield County falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Woodland (Cartersville, GA) to confront the Wildcats in a AAAA Region 7 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-12. Woodland won 66-42 in their recent non-league match against Unity Christian (Rome, GA)
