In Saturday's league contest, the host Pocola Indians basketball team scored a big 71-39 triumph over the Wilburton Diggers.
The Indians (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Howe (Howe, OK). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Howe smashed Central (Sallisaw, OK), 58-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Diggers battle the Pocola Indians (Pocola, OK) in a Black Diamond contest, on Monday, January 6. Wilburton will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 56-46 non-league win over Howe (Howe, OK).
