Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way East holds off Andrew

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Lincoln-Way East Griffins basketball team scored a close 52-48 triumph over the Andrew Thunderbolts.

The Griffins (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Lincoln-Way West was tipped by Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 45-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Thunderbolts confront the Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban contest, on Thursday, January 9. Andrew will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record.
