In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles basketball team scored a big 53-25 win over the Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets.
The Orioles (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Frederick Warriors (Frederick, MD). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Frederick Warriors smashed Maryland School for the Deaf (Frederick, MD), 44-18, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Friends Quakers (Baltimore, MD) in a IAAM C contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Chapelgate Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
