The Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN), 65-30 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cadets now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Postville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Crestwood will play a Pirates team coming off a 59-27 league loss to Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-9.

With the loss, Lanesboro falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Burros host Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN) to play the Knights in a A Section 1 bout on Monday, January 6. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Kingsland won 51-38 in their recent league bout against LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN)
