Ohio High School Basketball - Edison nips Port Clinton

In Saturday's league contest, the host Edison Chargers basketball team scored a close 50-45 win over the Port Clinton Redskins.

The Chargers (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Crestview (Ashland, OH). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Crestview edged South Central (Greenwich, OH), 56-13, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Redskins battle the Rossford Bulldogs (Rossford, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Port Clinton will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 46-28 league loss to Eastwood (Pemberville, OH).
