The Red Raiders now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Cedar Shoals for a AAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Madison County will play a Jaguars team coming off a 55-41 non-league loss to Thomson (Thomson, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Hart County falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA) to play the Wolverines in a AA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Prince Avenue Christian won 46-35 in their recent non-league bout against Pendleton (Pendleton, SC)
