Georgia High School Basketball - Jasper County overwhelms Jackson

January 4, 2025: Monticello, GA 31064

The Jasper County Hurricanes basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Jackson Red Devils to 29 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hurricanes now have a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Atlanta Christian for a A D1 Region 4 game on Tuesday, January 7. Jasper County will confront a Warriors team coming off a 70-32 non-league win over Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 12-0.

With the loss, Jackson falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Pike County (Zebulon, GA) to confront the Pirates in a AA Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 4-4.
