The Gators (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Peabody (Alexandria, LA). The Warhorses come into the non-league challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Peabody trounced Northwood (Lena, LA), 47-25, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Red River will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 60-46 non-league win over Bossier (Bossier City, LA).
