Georgia High School Basketball - Marion County held off by Taylor County

January 4, 2025: Butler, GA 31006

In Saturday's league test, the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) basketball squad got by the visiting Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA), by a score of 45-43.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA) in a A D2 Region 6 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Taylor County will attempt to improve on its 10-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 7-1 record after their 49-31 league win over Schley County (Ellaville, GA).

The Eagles (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Eagles come into the A D2 Region 6 test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Crawford County was nipped by Taylor County (Butler, GA), 53-17, in a league test.
