Ohio High School Basketball - West Branch routs Minerva

In Saturday's league contest, the host West Branch Warriors basketball team scored a big 41-18 triumph over the Minerva Lions.
The Warriors (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marlington (Alliance, OH). The Dukes go into the Eastern Buckeye contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Marlington was trounced by Carrollton (Carrollton, OH), 53-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the New Philadelphia Quakers (New Philadelphia, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Minerva will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Quakers go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 46-43 league loss to Lexington (Lexington, OH).
