In Saturday's league contest, the host St. Michael-Albertville Knights basketball team scored a big 62-31 win over the Moorhead Spuds.
The Knights (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Skippers come into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Minnetonka was trounced by Wayzata (Plymouth, MN), 63-49, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Spuds battle the Sheyenne Mustangs (West Fargo, ND) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Moorhead will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 73-45 league loss to Horace (Horace, ND).
