Next, the Mustangs clash with the South Tama County Trojans (Tama, IA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Mt. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 1-7 record after their 51-48 league loss to Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA).
