The Pine Raiders basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Vidalia Vikings to 22 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Raiders now have a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Loranger for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Pine will confront a Wolves team coming off a 50-39 non-league win over Hammond (Hammond, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Vidalia falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Vikings host Buckeye (Buckeye, LA) to confront the Panthers in a 3A District 2 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 9-5. Buckeye won 41-35 in their recent non-league game against Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA)
