The South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME) basketball crushed the host Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME), 53-30 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Red Riots now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Windham for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. South Portland will play a Eagles team coming off a 49-30 league loss to Bangor (Bangor, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Portland falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bangor (Bangor, ME) to play the Rams in a AA North bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Bangor won 49-30 in their recent league bout against Windham (Windham, ME)
