The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Zillah Leopards (Zillah, WA) and the host Royal Knights (Royal City, WA), observed Zillah's basketball team knock off Royal by a score of 55-40.

The Leopards (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against College Place (College Place, WA). The Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, College Place achieved victory over Kiona-Benton (Benton City, WA), 34-23, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Royal falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Naches Valley (Naches, WA) to play the Rangers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Naches Valley lost 42-21 in their recent non-league bout against Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA)
