The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Adams Highlanders (Rochester, MI) and the visiting Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI), witnessed Adams's ice hockey team defeat Utica by a score of 4-0.

The Highlanders (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Walled Lake Northern by South Lyon (South Lyon, MI), 5-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Chieftains battle the Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, January 5. Utica will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Romeo (Romeo, MI).
