Ohio High School Ice Hockey - Walsh Jesuit knocks off Holy Name

The Walsh Jesuit Warriors ice hockey team scored 7 points and held the host Holy Name Green Wave to 1 in the Warriors league victory on Saturday.
The Warriors now own a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Padua Franciscan for a Great Lakes Hockey League bout on Saturday, January 11. Walsh Jesuit will play a Bruins team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Steele (Amherst, OH). The Bruins record now stands at 7-9.
With the defeat, Holy Name moves to 2-8 on the season. The Green wave travel to Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Elyria Catholic won 5-2 in their recent non-league bout against Strongsville (Strongsville, OH)
