Minnesota High School Ice Hockey - St. Thomas Academy can't get by Moorhead

The Moorhead Spuds nudged the visiting St. Thomas Academy Cadets ice hockey team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Spuds (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bemidji (Bemidji, MN). The Lumberjacks go into the Greater Minnesota contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Bemidji edged St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN), 5-2, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cadets play the Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. St. Thomas Academy will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 9-1 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN).
