In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Union County Fightin' Tigers basketball team scored a big 67-23 win over the Branford Buccaneers.

The Fightin' Tigers (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Dixie County (Cross City, FL). The Bears come into the contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Dixie County smashed Lafayette (Mayo, FL), 63-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Buccaneers battle the Aucilla Christian Warriors (Monticello, FL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Branford will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record.
