The Lowry Buckaroos basketball squad (Winnemucca, NV), was crushed 68-28 in Saturday's league battle with the host Elko Indians (Elko, NV)

With the victory, Elko advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Indians host Fernley (Fernley, NV) to meet the Vaqueros in a non-league battle on Friday, January 10. The Vaqueros enter the battle with a record of 0-4. Fernley lost 68-35 in their recent non-league battle against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV)

The Buckaroos now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Creek for a battle on Tuesday, January 7. Lowry will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 57-41 non-league win over Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Spartans record now stands at 11-2.
